President's Council

Supporting our President

The Freed-Hardeman University President’s Council is a group of friends and alumni of FHU all over the U.S. and Canada who are interested in a closer relationship to the current president while supporting its mission. The President’s Council was formed when David R. Shannon began his leadership of FHU, and the three former presidents shared the need for people to surround him with prayer, connection, and wisdom.

President’s Council Members:

Partner with FHU in providing academically challenging and spiritually formative university experience
Serve as ambassadors in the community for FHU
Receive email updates of the president sharing news
Share excitement, provide feedback, impart wisdom and lift prayers
Attend special events throughout the year
Invest with an annual donation for a discretionary university fund directed by the president to advance FHU’s mission

President’s Council Levels of Giving:

Executive Cabinet – $25,000 +
Cabinet Member – $10,000 – $24,999
Executive Council – $5,000 – $9,999
Council Member – $1,200 – $4,999
Special Membership to Young Professionals that are 1-10 years post-graduation
