The Office of Student Services exists to serve and assist the student body by maintaining a comfortable and safe environment in which students may learn, live, and grow. Student Services oversees many aspects of campus life, including chapel attendance, housing assignments and dorm life, student deans, disciplinary appeals, and accessibility services. Whether it’s assistance with housing, bringing concerns to the deans, or seeking attention for your overall health, you’ll find what you need in Student Services.
If you need to speak with someone in Student Services or if you have a concern you would like to be addressed, please contact by phone at 731-989-6790.
The Office of Student Services also oversees the health and safety of our students by managing the University Counseling Center (UCC). For mental health counseling, students can make appointments at our University Counseling Center.
More about the University Counseling Center
Located at 155 Hamlett Ave. (across the street from Farrow Hall and in front of Sewell Hall) provides medical care to current students, faculty, staff and administration of Freed-Hardeman University and their dependents. Individuals can see a nurse practitioner for first-aid, medical advice, illnesses, injuries, administration of allergy injections and support for mental health. Many conditions that would be seen in a primary or urgent care office can be handled right on campus. The nurse practitioner can diagnose and prescribe treatment for common illnesses as well as perform physicals.
