Joining a Mission & Ministry Group at Freed-Hardeman University can offer numerous benefits that contribute to your overall college experience and personal growth. Here are some reasons why you might consider joining a spiritual club at the university:
Take some time to explore the different clubs and groups available on campus, attend their meetings, and see which one aligns best with your spiritual journey and aspirations for personal growth.

Missions’ Group began in 1983 to provide a venue where those interested in foreign and domestic mission work can discuss opportunities for service and learn about current mission trends. The club meets the first and third Thursday of each month at 8:00pm in the homes of the Missions faculty. Some meetings feature guests who speak on their mission works, while other sessions focus on missionary principles and skills. The club helps to formulate mission teams who share the same interests in various locations and missions as a whole. Over the past thirty years, several such teams have formed, going to serve in domestic sites as well as in countries around the world. The club contains students within various majors, as all students are welcome to join. For more information, please contact Mark Blackwelder at 731-989-6624 or at mblackwelder@fhu.bramblettgrp.com.
Preachers’ Club seeks to provide a place for students who are ministry focused to improve their abilities in speaking and serving. The club provides fellowship among young men and women interested in leading through ministry as well as interactions with individuals currently involved in ministry. The club endeavors to provide opportunities and resources for students seeking to hone their skills as they look for ways to serve God and His people better.
