Center of Excellence in Spiritual Leadership

Center of Excellence in Spiritual Leadership

The College of Biblical Studies has a Center of Excellence in Spiritual Leadership. Below is some basic information:

The CESL exists to edify, encourage, train, and support excellence in spiritual leadership.

Generous donors provided endowed funds to FHU to provide for the center to serve as a resource to churches. The Center seeks to encourage spiritual leadership development to enrich, strength, and grow the church of our Lord. The Center provides resources for FHU faculty, church leadership enrichment opportunities, and the training of future leaders. The Center carries forth its mission through leadership training workshops, quality Biblical online content, and church consulting services. Currently the Center’s primary leadership workshop is held the last weekend of September each year at Mid-South Youth Camp. The Center also produces the FHU Leadership Podcast which offers high quality content to educate and encourage church leaders. The Center desires to make the resources of FHU available to church leaders to assist and encourage them in their essential work for the kingdom.

The Church Leadership Workshop is held the last weekend of September each year. It is located at Mid-South Youth Camp. The workshop is open to all Christians, though a focus is upon elders, deacons, and ministers who are involved in church leadership. We are excited about this year’s workshop.
