Because we believe that the residential experience is an invaluable component of Christian education, all students are required to live on campus unless they are over 23 years of age, have accumulated 120 credit hours, or are married. Freed-Hardeman University embraces energy conservation and believes it to be our responsibility to ensure that every reasonable effort is made to conserve energy in housing and all buildings on campus while exercising sound financial management. Our energy conservation program monitors the use of electricity, water and natural gas on university properties. We track our energy consumption using a holistic approach of auditing facilities, data collection, financial analysis, customization of HVAC systems and monitoring of mechanical equipment.
