The College of Business is grounded in six Christian values: excellence, faith, humility, integrity, respect, and service. We believe these six mission-driven values are essential for our faculty and students to thrive both in the classroom and in a global and diverse environment.

Why Study Here?

The College of Business provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare for excellent employment opportunities in the business world or for advanced study in business administration. The College of Business offers the Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting, Business Analytics, Finance, Financial Planning, Management, Marketing, or Sport Administration. The College of Business also offers a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and a 4-Plus Dual B.B.A./M.B.A. (Master of Business Administration) in all business disciplines listed above.

Professional business education is provided by faculty who are prepared both academically and with industry experience. Business faculty members maintain professional credentials such as the Certified Professional Marketer (CPM), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP). The Brown-Kopel Business Center provides an outstanding learning environment for developing the tools demanded in today’s competitive business environment.

Business students have the opportunity to participate in professional and honor organizations. The professional and honor organizations consist of Delta Mu Delta, Society for Future Accountants (SFA), Society of Future Marketers (SFM), the Hatchett Investment Team, and Business Administration and Management Organization (BAM).

The FHU College of Business also offers a South Korea study abroad program that will inspire and advance students’ knowledge, understanding, and real-world experience of international business. Students will have the opportunity to expand their professional network on a global scale.

Accreditation

The College of Business is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) for the MBA and BBA in Accounting, Business Analytics, Finance, Financial Planning, Management and Marketing.Accrediting over 300 institutions, ACBSP is the leading specialized accreditation association for business education.

*The B.B.A. in Sport Administration, B.B.A. in Finance: Financial Planning, and MBA in Healthcare Management are regionally accredited by SACSCOC but excluded from ACBSP accreditation until they meet the eligibility requirements including being in existence for two years and having graduates.*
