Makin’ Music is a live in-person event that lasts all weekend! This event is a FHU tradition with a weekend full of events and ways to make memories for a life-time. A full weekend schedule is listed below.
You may be a current student, faculty or staff member or a prospective student. This is a great way to get involved and/or learn more about FHU.
Prospective FHU students will also get the chance to experience campus life during Maroon & Gold Day on Friday, April 11. This event offers high school students and their parents, as well as college or university students that are considering a transfer, an opportunity to tour the campus, meet current students and faculty/staff and have their questions answered about campus life. Maroon & Gold Day is free and registration for this event opens February 28. In addition, group campus tours for interested students will be held Saturday, April 12. Registration for all Admissions hosted events, including Maroon & Gold Days and group tours, are available at go.fhu.edu/portal/visit.
Friday morning, April 11, weekend visitors are welcome to attend a special ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of the new Jones Family Dining Hall and Chick-fil-A. The ceremony will begin an 9:30 a.m. in front of the new dining hall.
On Saturday, the campus will host Party on the Green from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Bader Green in the center of campus. The event will welcome guests with food trucks, inflatable jumpers, a photo booth and a cast member parade at 6:50 p.m. In addition, members of the FHU Associates will be on hand to sell FH Brews and teas as well as Sunshine Boxes, which will be distributed to current students during finals week.
